Christofer Nässil
Keynote: Profitable & Productive Clubs and Academies
Christofer Nassil, is working as a Business and Productivity Coach for Golf Clubs and Golf Academies.
He’s profound interest lies in finding the answer to the question: “With everyone having the same 24 hours in a day, why do some people succeed while others don’t?” Since 2008, he had invested over 10,000 hours seeking the answer, and he found it while running one of the most profitable department stores in Europe. Six years ago, he picked up golf again and put my methods to the test. In three years, he went from an all-time low 11-hcp to a 1-hcp, breaking par once and winning the club championship. He achieved this while playing only once a week, with no swing instruction. After that, he started looking into the business side of Golf Clubs and saw that he could help.
Three years ago, Christofer redirected all his focus and time to the business side of Golf Clubs, striving to enhance the business model to a more profitable, productive, and sustainable one. This endeavor is now completed, and he is thrilled to be able to share it with you all in Malaga as he launch his coaching company at the event!

Expanding with more women in golf
The participation of women in golf still leaves us with a big opportunity to expand our business by getting more women to play golf. To secure this we need to get more women working in golf. Over the past five years, The R&A Women in Golf Leadership Programmes have supported 180 women, from 36 countries, in their professional development as managers and leaders within the golf industry. The leadership programmes are The R&A’s commitment to the Women in Golf Charter. These programmes are gaining recognition around the globe and are making an impact by ensuring the talent pipeline is more diverse, golf as an employer is more equal and inclusive and they are directly contributing to future proofing the workforce of the industry. Jackie Davidson, Director -Education, The R&A, will provide the rationale for this work, provide an overview of the programmes and share the successes to date.
